New Hisense U6NQ Mini LED 4K TV pricing unveiled in Europe
The pricing for the Hisense U6NQ Mini LED TV has been unveiled in Europe. The model was recently launched in the US as the U6N and will retail in Canada under the name U68N. European customers are offered four sizes: 50-inch, 55-inch, 65-inch and 75-inch. It appears that the 85-inch model will be reserved for North America.
Online stores like Euronics and Alternate in Germany list the entry-level 50-inch U6NQ priced at €699. In the middle of the range are the 55-inch and 65-inch devices, costing €949 and €1,249, respectively. At the top end is the 75-inch TV, which retails for €1,499. While customers can place an order, it does not appear that either retailer has the product in stock; Euronics estimated delivery in 15 to 30 working days, which would be at some point in June. Plus, the full price list for the UK has yet to be revealed, but it is expected that the range will start at £799.
The U6NQ is almost identical to the U6N, an LCD TV with a 4K (3,840 x 2,160 px) resolution, a native 60Hz refresh rate and up to 500 nits peak brightness. The key difference between the versions for Europe and the US is with the operating system, with VIDAA 7.6 used in place of Google TV. Despite the pricing reveal, it remains to be seen when the Hisense U6NQ Mini LED TV will launch in Europe.
